"cavico", a character assembly model brand under Japanese model maker M.I.Molde that commercializes the works of many creators, announced that the latest product "CHOIPLA EVANGELION Unit-01" from "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" is expected to be released in August 2025.
The "CHOIPLA" series is an assembly model product produced by the cavico design team using the unique "MeChaCoRo style" with a small head and large legs, reinterpreting the well-known robot characters in Japanese anime into cute Q-version postures. Almost every product is made up of a single molding color and dozens of parts. When completed, the total height is only about 5 cm. The shape is quite precise and can be painted according to your own preferences.
The new product "EVANGELION Unit-01" announced this time was designed by Japanese mechanical designer moi (Moino), who is famous for the "Ground Self-Defense Force Type 07 III Tank Nacchin" series. The Unit-01 is made into a round style with a small head and big legs, while the characteristic restraint (armor) details of the original work are retained through sharp parts.
The accessories will include weapons such as "electromagnetic rifle", "high-vibration particle knife", and "umbilical cable", which can be equipped on the cable interfaces of the left and right hands and the back respectively.
