Japan's X-PLUS Co., Ltd. has unveiled a new product based on the classic movie "The Wolf Man" - a 1/8 scale plastic assembly model of "Lon Chaney Jr. as Wolf Man". The reference retail price is 8,800 yen and is expected to be released in December 2025!
"The Wolf Man" is a classic black-and-white horror film released by Universal Pictures in 1941, directed by George Waggner and starring Lon Chaney Jr. It is one of the most representative werewolf themes in film history. It tells the story of Larry Talbot who returns to the small Welsh town of Lanville to deal with the loss of his brother, but is accidentally involved in the werewolf legend after meeting a local woman named Gwen.
This Werewolf assembly model stands approximately 22 cm tall. It sculpts the image of actor Lon Chaney Jr. in special effects makeup, recreating his distinctive proportions and stance, focusing on his piercing gaze and detailed fur, bringing the werewolf character to life.
