When discussing the mechanics of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," the "Destroids," which defend the Macross ships, are just as indispensable as the "Valkyries." Wave had already produced a 1/72 scale model of the Destroids, but is now expanding the "Destroid" series to 1/100 scale. The second release in this series, the "Defender," is a snap-fit type that does not require glue, just like the "Tomahawk," and each joint is movable with polycaps. The proportions and details of the 1/72 scale model have been condensed into a finished product that does not compromise anything. When displayed alongside our already released 1/100 VF-1 series, the world of "Super Dimension Fortress Macross" will expand.
