«The Great Lord Elder prophesied that I would be the one who would guide the revolution. A person who would make a great choice that will bring peace or destruction to the world of shinobi. »»
The company Tusume Art has represented an epic moment of the Naruto Shippuden series through the realization of a 1/8 scale HQS statue. They pay homage to the heroic legendary ninja Jiraya. A very dynamic statue that emphasizes the intense emotion that is felt in the heart of the action, like a frozen painting: that of a final beat, a last will of Jiraiya that will change the course of the future ...
The scene takes place in the original town of Nagato: Ame, the town hidden in the rain. In fact, behind the rock plate where Jiraiya is dying, we find imposing pipes and grilles, covered with a metallic paint that mixes shades of copper, brown, black and gray to achieve a most realistic representation. Under the effect of the powerful attack of the 5 ninjas, the water in bluish transparent resin is released, creating foam. The legendary ninja begins what he thinks his final fight is: the time has come for his great choice! Determined to unmask Pain, he recognizes Yahiko, one of his former students who lost his life. Like Tendô, he uses the violet ring of Pain in his thumb and takes the role of leader, above the other 4 ninjas.
These ancient shinobis were defeated by Jiraiya. They wear the long black tunic with the Akatsuki symbol, painted with black, gray and dark red tones, then covered with a matt varnish to be faithful to the license. Her hair is painted in a gradient of light and dark orange, while her barred headband indicates that they have left the Hidden Villa of Llúvia. His pupils are formed by gray and purple concentric circles ... The dōjutsu Rinnegan ... Nagato! Dozens of metal perforations implanted in the bodies of the ninjas, serve as chakra emitters and receivers, allowing Nagato to control them remotely. While Jiraiya finally gets his answer, 5 spears pierce his back, staining his long white hair with blood.
Lying in a pool of his own blood created in reddish and varnished transparent resin, convicted Jiraiya recalls Naruto's unwavering determination. A memory that allowed his heart to beat one last time to finally carry out his mission. Grimacing with his bloody mouth, showing a glassy but determined look, he uses the bluish transparent resin chakra emanating from the tip of his finger to record a coded message on Fukasaku's back. The toad, like Jiraiya, shows an expression of pain and obstinacy: it became the key to stop Pain, ready to deliver this crucial message. While Jiraiya dies slowly, the 5 Pain pounce on him to put a definitive end to his life, his robe thrown back due to the speed of the movement.
His duty fulfilled, the legendary ninja lets himself be dragged serenely to the abyssal depths. Jiraiya's last thoughts are about his next novel, which he decides to call "The Story of Naruto Uzumaki", because now he is absolutely certain: He is the Child of Prophecy!
The statue comes with a numbered plaque and a certificate of authenticity.
