First of all, when I deleted the original game from the brain miso and looked at it as a pure three-dimensional object, the modeling of Crag's sister at the top of the monster's head looks somewhat like an Asian, so this time's finish is "Japanese style" I decided to put it together in "Taste".
Then, I wondered what color body (of the monster part) would look good on my black-haired sister, and made a selfish conclusion that "If it's a Japanese taste, it's the golden color that is often found in Japanese lucky charms" (laughs). , The body is painted in gold. It's good to paint it, but it's too monotonous if it's only gold, so I'd like to give it a marking (?) That matches the gold background. Is it a red magatama or a cloud-shaped line? Saw. (Actually, I thought I'd put in a sword character, but I didn't have that knowledge to write a sword character, and I didn't have a small sword character decal that fits this ... (sweat).
As for the face, it was a Western fantasy creature in the original game, so if you want a Japanese taste, let's make it a "youkai"! I tried to finish it in the direction.
I myself have the concept that the drastic difference between creatures and youkai is whether or not they are charming, so by using the expression of eyes as eyeballs, facial expressions are created, and it feels somewhat cute. I thought it might be, so I drew a lot of highlights (laughs).

In order to create an image of the characteristic hedgehog-like thorn-like hair (?) That is neither thorns nor body hair, I tried to finish it with a gradation of blue, mainly purple, which is often used in Japanese-style decoration.
In addition, the body surface expression of the hind legs is given an unpleasant serpentine expression by applying marble-like painting using cotton and non-woven fabric, which was popular among net modelers a while ago.
And, the flame parts emitted from the body are not the burning red, but the blue flame reminiscent of the human soul.
How about a blue paint that looks like flame or water depending on how you look at it?

I tried to add vermilion and black lacquer-like coloring to the armor of the warrior in order to put it together in a Japanese style. Originally, it would be nice to emphasize the shadows on each part with a shade or dry brush, but that would eliminate the lacquer look, so I dare to make it a monotonous finish.
The shield contains a fine and beautiful mold, so if you apply it carefully, you will get a firm finish.
So, this time I tried an example of painting a character with my favorite image, but how was it? After all, when I finished finishing it, I realized that it was simply the reverse of the original, Western style> Japanese style, dark body color> bright golden body, blue knight's armor> red armor. It's embarrassing, but I was able to feel that such an attempt was not a finished product, but a way of enjoying it because it was a kit, and it was a fun task.
