MONDO, a well-known poster design and toy company, has released a new product themed around the classic TV series "Batman: The Animated Series"—a limited edition 1/6 scale "Batgirl" action figure. The suggested retail price is $235 USD. Pre-orders are now open on the MONDO Shop website, with shipping expected in October 2026!
Batgirl first appeared in the animated series in Season 1, Episode 57, "Shadow of the Bat: Part I." Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Commissioner Gordon, asks Batman to attend a rally in support of her father, who has been framed and imprisoned. After being refused by Batman, she decides to disguise herself as Batgirl and appear at the rally to attract attention. After calming the situation, she officially becomes Batgirl, joining Batman and Robin as a masked hero protecting Gotham City.
This 1/6 scale action figure stands approximately 26.6 cm tall. The sculpted details perfectly capture Barbara's Batgirl persona, with the cape crafted from soft plastic and painted using a flat, cel-shaded technique to achieve the flat, two-dimensional look of the original. The figure faithfully recreates the contrast between the royal blue suit and the series' signature deep black shadows, and even the vibrant lip color is meticulously reproduced. Accessories include three interchangeable Batgirl head sculpts, one Barbara head sculpt, long hair accessories, six pairs of interchangeable arms, interchangeable capes with draped and flowing poses, a batarang, a batarang with wire, a grappling hook in its extended state, a bat rope with a hammer, a spray paint can, binoculars, and a teddy bear. It can be stably positioned in various poses using the dedicated stand and can be combined with previously released Batman and Clayman figures to recreate scenes from the movies!
