American toy brand MEZCO TOYZ has unveiled a new Marvel Comics-themed product in its popular 1/12 scale action figure series, "One:12 Collective"—the "Spider-Man 2099" 1/12 scale action figure. The suggested retail price is $116 USD. Pre-orders are now available on the MEZCO website, with a planned release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Spider-Man 2099, whose real name is Miguel O'Hara, first appeared in *Spider-Man 2099* #1, published in 1992. He is a geneticist at Alchemy Inc. After discovering the company's atrocities of human experimentation, he wanted to resign but was coerced by Tyler Stone, the company's vice president, into drinking an addictive drug that combined spider genes. After some self-rescue, he gained some spider abilities and later became the new superhero Spider-Man 2099!
This One:12 Collective Spider-Man 2099 stands approximately 17cm tall and appears to be a color rendition of the 2022 release . It features the "Unstable Molecule" suit developed by Invisible Woman Sue and Mr. Marvel Reed, using composite fabric to faithfully recreate the suit's details. A semi-transparent spiderweb cape with hidden steel wires is located at the back of the suit, allowing for various dynamic poses. Accessories include a Miguel head sculpt, a half-face head sculpt, a mask-face head sculpt with different expressions, six pairs of interchangeable hands, a wrist communicator, a communicator projecting Lyla's image, and various spider web and spiderweb effects.
