The capsule toy brand CAPSULE-DOU , a collaboration between Hong Kong toy brand threezero and Japanese company HMA, has officially announced the release of its original monster-themed new product, "Great Monster Dragon Encyclopedia Vol. 1," scheduled for June 2026.
"The Great Monster Encyclopedia" is a gashapon toy series created in collaboration with renowned Japanese sculptor Ryu Oyama . The series features a miniature size of approximately 6 cm in height and a low-profile body proportion, showcasing various original monsters designed by Oyama. The mass-produced plastic material is used to reproduce the rich details, textures, and facial features of the original product to the greatest extent possible. Combined with color painting, the detailed outlines, scratches, and dirt are brought to life, enhancing the monsters' biological feel.
The first batch of products will include four monsters:
1. TSUNOGUREN, a subterranean monster
that is 30 meters long and has lived on Earth since ancient times. It uses its huge horn on its head to attack.
2. The Hellish Dragon TSUNOYAMI
is 30 meters long and is a mysterious and powerful dragon that only appears on the ground once every hundred years.
3. Bludon, a 27-meter-long, terrifying sea monster
that lives in the deep sea, has powerful jaws that can crush any object.
4. J-DON, the sea monster
is 27 meters long. It is a gentle monster that lurks in the ocean and swamps, but it can become quite terrifying when it gets angry, so you need to be careful.
