The Bandai Spirits company, under the Tamashii Nations brand, presents us with the Figuarts ZERO EXTRA BATTLE -Chojo Kessen- that they dedicate to Monkey D. Luffy performing his Gear Second technique.
Gear Second is a technique that increases Luffy's strength and mobility. He was first seen in the fight between Luffy and Blueno. The technique implies that Luffy accelerates the blood flow of all or a specific part of his body, in order to provide him with more oxygen and nutrients. This makes it much faster and more powerful. The technique uses even more oxygen and energy, consuming a lot of food and making Luffy gasp heavily.
