The new "BLOCKCROSS" series of robot-themed model toys launched by Japan's Bandai Toy Company announced that the second product from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series is expected to be released on August 30, 2025.
"BLOCK CROSS" is composed of a "BLOCK frame" with common specifications in the series and "CROSS parts" that reproduce the image of each machine. It can be easily completed like an assembling model without the need for glue or other tools. Through the "CROSS BUILD" gameplay that allows you to freely match the parts of each machine, you can unleash your creativity to assemble your own original machine. In addition, the "BLOCK frame" also has the ability to change and expand. You can use multiple sets of frames to change the shape, forming a high-head body frame, a low-head body frame, a four-legged walking frame... and many other gameplay methods!
The second installment of the "Gundam" series will include four new machines: "GQuuuuuuX", "Wind Gundam", "Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode)", and "Knight Gundam". Each machine comes with unique exclusive weapons, such as the Wind Gundam's shield that can be separated into a GUND sub-machine, and can be played with the movable frame. Currently, only CG images of the machines under development have been released, and more detailed product information will be updated in the future.
