BANDAI SPIRITS, a Japanese company, has announced the release of its latest original assembly model kit, the " 30 MINUTES MISSIONS ," a 1/144 EXM-Σ2 Wildernova (replica model) , from its HOBBY division. The kit features quick assembly, easy modification, and the appeal of mass production . The kit is scheduled for release in April 2026.
The EXM-Σ2 Wildenova was designed by renowned mechanical designer Kenjiro Ebikawa . In the story's setting, it is the first new flying machine developed by the Byron Army. It is equipped with a flight backpack with a pair of large main wings on its back, enabling the Wildenova to fly and switch between three modes: "high-mobility combat," "mid-range combat," and "long-range combat." The EXM-Σ2 Wildenova (copycat) is a special specification that the Maxio Army, a third force in the story's background , independently improved and mass-produced after studying the machine.
The "30MM 1/144 EXM-Σ2 Wildernova (Replica)" is a modified version of the previously released standard Wildernova . It utilizes newly designed parts to recreate a different head design and includes interchangeable head parts for both the commander and production versions. The body parts have also been repainted in black, purple, and clear purple to recreate a jet-black look. In addition to Wildernova's original rifle, it is also equipped with weapons such as a Maxio-made katana.
